The mission of Sister Cities is to promote peace through mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation. Sister Cities programs include arts and culture, youth and education; business and trade; community development; and exchanges to connect citizens around the globe.

About Us

SanDISCA members are citizen diplomats who support economic development, democracy, and international understanding through people-to-people exchanges.

History

San Diego's first international sister city was started in 1957. In 1993, SanDISCA became the umbrella organization for all fifteen sister city societies of San Diego.
